Our feelings can feel heavy. Time for 'us' isn't always abundant. We can consume time in service to others. Sometimes we forget what serving ourselves is, beyond food, sleep, and washing.
"What else did I like?", you might ask yourself, as if the past you knew you better. Perhaps the answers are there. But looking backwards doesn't often feel good. Things changed. You had children. You got a new job. You changed. And you have learnt things that you did not know. You have become stronger. Even when you don't feel like it. Because you stayed. You survived that challenging day. Challenging week. Challenging situation. And here you are. Reading this. You eyes beautifully open. Your brain and Being looking to love you again. Well done. And welcome. If you didn't already know, you're on a path to improve. I know this because you're here. Reading this. Thinking. Feeling.
Come to me. I promise you'll feel welcome. And safe. If that's unusual for you, take your time with it. Settle in. Sit with me and we'll breathe. I'll count, you focus on being inside yourself. A human. Alive. Present. And then lie down and let it go. You don't need to 'do' anything. Just relax, and be (literally think 'relax', and if it's new to you, your Being may need a few repetitions of these words in your head in order to relax). I'll do my best to call down unconditional love for you, so the universe can speak to you. Even if you feel She's far away. She loves you. We love you.
So come, let me love you for a bit. And then we'll part. And on you go, onwards and upwards. Closer to yourself. More whole. For the answers are usually within. And all those people who you care for, all those roles you take on, will benefit from that. First serve yourself, then you may serve others.
