There are some things we know, and some things we don't know.
Science will be forever catching up with the most intelligent 'computer' known to man - other than Earth itself: the human being. However, despite this, there is a huge array of robust academic evidence that reiki works, and that Coaching works. A selection of articles are linked below.
We advise everyone to be discerning when choosing a medical practitioner or therapist.
You are precious, and should be treated as such.
Not everyone is for everyone. Use your instinct and intuition to find the right people for you. We are blessed to be living in a world with access to wonderful knowledge and medicine across the world. Find the right practitioners for you. Speak to those you are considering working with. Ask them questions, gauge whether your values align. A useful question to ask yourself is, if you had a child, would you trust the practitioner with your child? Because you should treat yourself like a precious and beloved child, and protect yourself as you would your child.
Reiki and Coaching are intimate practices. They require trust between the practitioner and the client. We advise you to only allow those you trust to have access to your light (energetic/spiritual) and physical body.
Satisfy yourself that our services are backed by science and research, as well as formal education and training.
We've linked evidence based academic articles below.
If there's anything we've missed, drop us a line and let us know.
"Reiki is a safe and gentle “complementary” therapy that activates the parasympathetic nervous system to heal body and mind. It has potential for broader use in management of chronic health conditions, and possibly in postoperative recovery."
"The results showed that Reiki reduces the severity of back pain and improved the level of activities among patients with intervertebral disc herniation (IVDH)."
"A main theme that emerged from the analysis was 'Confidence'"
"It is concluded that SF/CB coaching appears to be an effective approach to personal development and goal attainment, and may prove to be a useful platform for a positive psychology and the investigation of the psychological mechanisms involved purposeful change in normal adult populations."
"The importance of both religion and spirituality is that they provide a context in which people can make sense of their lives, explain and cope with their experiences and find and maintain a sense of hope, inner harmony and peacefulness in the midst of the existential challenges of life"
"Well-being was positively predicted by spirituality experienced through connectedness with the transcendent and through connectedness with others"
